Ever since I set up the MMI app on my phone about a month or so ago, I get this message on my MMI screen every time I turn off my car. I searched my owner's manual and MMI menus but couldn't find what is causing it. Has anybody else gotten this message?

It means that audi connect is working even when you park the car and close it. This is just in case you bought the car as preowned and you are not aware that someone is still connected. In your case you are connected to with the app so no worries.

If someone else is still connected then surely they also have access to the car's information and can use their own connect app?

If he is already connected at setup he saw all users. This also proves that the system will be online for you to check your car via app, turn on heating if you have the feature, open the doors..etc.
