I just ordered a pair. I havent really looked at the stock ones. What kind of tool do you need a torx or just a screwdriver to get the clamp off?

My installed tips look exactly like Yellowbus'.

To remove the stock tips, theres a clip on the top holding it in place. My approach was to use a screwdriver from the back of the tip and lift up the clip while pulling the tip outwards. One side took 2 minutes, the other about 10 seconds.

Got them installed. I turned them slightly so they would match the oem tip angle. On the oem tip you can see the clip that you must push up to remove.

Oh man these look sweet! Any plans on making them for the A3? I have a 2017 and would love put these on it. So far I have come up empty on eBay.

Tips look great just wish they fit flush slightly slanted like oem ones as opposed to sticking straight out. Not sure if ecs designed them longer so you can see ecs logo? If so another option would be to have logo on inside of tip on bottom.
