Upgrading to B&O from stock on leased 2017 A4?

The cost of trying to upgrade your system will skyrocket compared to what it would have cost to have it from the start. I highly advise against it. Plus the odds of any such aftermarket work being done perfect and trouble-free are extremely low. You are going to alter and likely ruin something that isn't really meant to be touched. This meshes well with why modded luxury cars have lower resale value.
Best of luck.

Regarding "why not get it from the start?" That's an easy one. I had a 2013 A4 with the standard audio system and I liked it just fine. I got a loaner once from the dealer that had the B&O and I wasn't that impressed. So when I ordered my 2017 A4 in February (and BTW, there were no 2017s in the showrooms at that time to take for a test drive/listen), I took my chances and didn't order the Premium Plus.
When I discovered that the Premium audio system was pretty poor, I didn't have the option to give it back. So my quest to improve the audio experience began. I replaced all the speakers (very cheap paper cones with small magnets) and instantly got a better sound. If an aftermarket audio enhancement can be done without compromising anything, I'll do it.

Search for my name. I've provided a lot of details. Four plus years later I'm very happy with better speakers. No doubt there are even better speakers today. My advice is go to local small business that specializes in car audio and they can advise you. You can probably listen to some options and you can decide what your budget is.

The speakers are connected to the amplifier by standard wiring. This wouldn't have any impact on the MMI. You have to use the proper ohms on the speakers to match the amplifier, but this has been true since I put my first after-market speakers in my used VW in 1970. Bluetooth has nothing to do with speakers.
