hey @SMac770

Good one, I try with a usb stick and some mp3s on it but nothing happens!

Leads me to believe the data usb port I bought is broken? Got it off Ebay

Hello, In my case, the wiring in the B9 car has +5V and 10.5V? Is it OK? or not?

Needed to update the firmware to 2161 MMI, 2148 does not work carplay..

Please go to youtube

and search for mmi update

find first the engineering menu to see the update also google this

than with mib tools you can patch / jailbreak the new firmware. Also google and see youtube

did you google for mib tools and do you have a data usb in the car? What is your car type and year.

we aren’t wizards. We need details.

like said before; YouTube for mmi update and google mib tools

Audi A4 Avant B9 2017. I currently only have a USB charger. I will convert to USB. I have a new box with 2 USB. I'm learning slowly.
