Default Very low cabin air flow

Is that just my car or all the A4 (or Audis) have very low cabin air flow. Thought to ask everyone before taking it to the dealer. When set at 1, the air from vents is like diffusing rather than low blowing. Even at maximum, the air is not that strong like my other none European cars. I can hear the fan running clearly even feel a bit loud/ noisy when set at 2 or above.

Just checking the obvious, but are your vents all the way open?

The low setting usually feels great to me, except for really hot days.

Tried Auto on the temperature control? That seems to really get things going quickly.

I've noticed that when I set the temps at around 72 or so, the center vents don't blow air and it actually becomes kinda hot inside (72 in my other cars works fine). I have to lower it to around 68 or so for the cabin to become cool (the center vents start blowing air out then). The outside temps are usually high 20s to low 40s when I checked this out.
Also, when I switch in the car, for the first few minutes, hot air blows out through the vents when the temp is set at 72. I'm guessing it is to increase the low temp in the cabin (outside temps, like I said, from the high 20s to low 40s) but it does become too hot in the car and everyone has to reduce the temperature to 66-68 to get cool air out of the vent.

PS - Like Sebec said, I believe auto is the best. If I leave it in auto, it works fine. Manually, it takes a lot of adjusting to set it right.

I usually use Auto, but the center vents will have a very low air flow because the system is designed to circulate air throughout the cabin rather than have it blow right on the driver and passenger. See the following thread...

Thank you all for the thoughts! I know the center right wide vent is for low flow diffuse. I still feel the driver and passenger side two each vents have relative low air flow.
Anybody knows where is the cabin air filter located and how to access it. B9 A4 is different from previous model years. YouTube is not helping with this one. I am thinking to take a look at the filter in case it is restricted.

That might be a good idea. The airflow is strong (sometimes too strong if on Auto) through the main vents in my A4. I often find myself turning down the fan.

I have never felt the need to adjust the CC of any of my cars, I just leave then set to 20.5c and let the climate do what it is designed to do. If it is frosty out then I use the max button but that's it.

My B8 A4 has a small button on the temp panel (not lighted) that if not activated restricts the air flow to the center dash vents. I was perplexed until I found this small button, now all is well.
