Hey all,

While driving to work today, for the first 10 min everything was normally, then after a stop light, my car started making this really weird loud noise what seemed like grinding noise of metal. As I sped up it seemed to increase. I pulled over right away, put the car in park, and then revved the engine, no noise. I started going forward, noise again. Put the car in park, went in reverse, no noise, shut the car off and back on again, and drove another 8 min with no noise. Any ideas? I hope it's not the transmission as my warranty just went up.......

Also, I didn't seem to feel any vibration or anything, noise seemed to come from up front... My brakes are at about 90%, but I was never braking when it was making the noise.

The noise disappeared when you went backwards then? Sounds like you got a stone in your brakes. Usually goes away when reversing.
