Wheel options on the 2017's are horrible

I've been looking at tirerack.com to see if there's a set of 17" wheels good for snow tires and I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that either all wheels are ugly or I have no sense of style whatsoever. Not ruling out the second option at all.

Black painted pockets actually give the wheel more depth, not less. The darker areas appear as shadows, which makes those spaces look farther away than the lighter colored fascia.
But overall, I am still disappointed with all A4 wheel choices. Back in 2002, Audi was imitating wheels of Ferrari models. Mostly sporty five-spokers. Wish to see those come back again. Oddly, there a set of optional Ford Explorer XLT rims that would actually look really good on the A4.

Which one?
I love black rims

the 19's on the B9 A4 are well matched, because this edition has the chrome surrounds which are more "luxury" look than the black optic "sport" look.
audi always looks good with 5-spoke clean:

I started this thread and gave in to the wheel design
I don't think the 19's photograph as well as they look in person. They have grown on me quite a bit and now I actually like them a lot.

I agree with you. I've never seen an Audi with the 19s until I visited the dealership. It isn't photogenic at all. Looks much better in person.
