Wheel Sizes

I am ordering an A4 premium plus with the basic sport package with manual transmission and not sure about wheel selection.
Considering the 19" wheel package with summer tires.
At some point will lose the summer tires and go with All Season year round.
I know there have been some other postings regarding this with a lot of comments about the looks.
I am most interested in the handling (is it better) and the general ride characteristics with the 19" vs the standard 18".
Any help is appreciated

In my test drives of the A4, I compared side-by-side both A4s, one with the 18" wheels + regular suspension and one with the 19" summers (Hankook Ventus) + sport suspension.
The Sport package/19" wheel combo is firmer with sharper handling but how much of that is the sport suspension vs the tires, is hard to discern. In general, expect a slightly firmer ride and sharper turn-in on 35-series summer tires vs 45-series all-season tires. Good luck in your decision.

I can't comment on the 18" wheels because I went right for the 19" Sport package. The car handles great, the ride is very smooth and quiet, and I love the way they look! What really amazes me is the lack of road noise with high performance tires. This is one of the quietest cars I've owned.
