There is a street right next to my house where 4 new homes were built on a new street in 2012-2013.

I was annoyed that the street was not appearing online. I reported the missing street on Google Maps and within a week the street was added in regular view and satellite view as well.

I did the same with Apple Maps and a year has gone by and nothing, the street is still missing. With the virtual cockpit, of course the street appears in Google Earth, but the standard view does not show the street.

I tried to update the map but it shows that I have most recent (2016).

Who does Audi use as their maps provider in standard view?

HERE maps, formerly Navteq. Audi, BMW and Daimler recently bought the HERE maps business from Nokia, so they own it now.

You can go online and see if they have the road, or otherwise report it. The offline versions, though, generally lag behind, because it takes some time to produce the data files, so even if the road shows online it may take a few updates before it will show up in the MMI.

The 2017 update its out. Available thru My Audi (FYI - if you try & download the entire coverage map, it's 10.3 GB - & their servers are slow).
