I noticed that the windshield on this model seems to pit or chip a lot easily than any other car I have driven. My personal car has a few small chips and pitted areas. It's not too bad but distracting when driving in the sun as it's a lot more noticeable.

I recently took my car in for service/repairs twice and received loaner A4 B9 both times and both also had similar issues. The second loaner was really bad, it appeared as if the entire windshield has been sandblasted and was hard to see out of. The entire windshield look like this:




Haven't seen anyone mention this, so wondering if anyone noticed similar issues.

That sucks didn't expect it to be "normal". Will probably get it a non-OEM replacement if I ever need one.
