Windshield replacement recommendations

Heard a stone hitting loudly on the windshield, didn't think much of it later. However after a day standing in 96 degree heat, the car seems to have developed a foot long crack. I can now notice a large enough chip on the windshield from the stone hitting the windshield.
I have a 2017 A4 Premium plus, Tech pkg. Has the basic pre sense.
Does NOT have Automatic Cruise control.
My insurance deductible is $1000(including glass), so I expect to pay for the glass myself.
Going online via safelite gave me a quote of $600.
Should I go for safelite or go for something else? Recommendations?
Thanks all.

I strongly recommend the OEM glass, whoever installs it.
I had an agreement with the dealer I bought mine from, used, to replace the glass rather than repair a chip in it (OEM glass, in writing - we agreed to split the cost).
They told the company doing the work to install 3rd party glass, and it was terrible. Warped at all the edges and the pre-sense system failed. After a lot of back and forth, OEM glass was put in and it was so much better - and the pre-sense system worked again without any re-calibration/repair. With calibration, I suspect the cheap glass would end up being more expensive.
I had no problem with the 3rd party doing the actual install - they were actuall very good to work with - just be sure it's OEM glass. Iirc, it's $500, so your $550 quote may not be OEM. Just don't do it.

Daughters 2016 A6 lost the wiper 'rain sense' with non-OEM windshield.
Sons 2012 A6 was told heads up display won't work with Safelite - plus glass is thinner - not good for airbag backup in a crash.
I'd say to go OEM.

So the earlier dealer quote was supposedly from the call center. I went to the dealership to talk and I was given a quote of $2102 in total after taxes. Labor is $210/hr

Go through insurance. I wouldn't risk with anything else on this car with Pre-Sense. I'm assuming this is covered by comprehensive, and I keep it at $250 for reasons like this.

$210/hr is insane - where do you live? Mine is $120, and that's higher than Lexus and BMW.
My OEM glass was $500 for parts. That would make nearly 7 hours in labor. Also insane. Mine was done in an hour.
Call another dealership and see what they quote you.
