So, maybe that price includes a set of 18" wheels - cheap ones I assume given the amount of the quote.
Probably steel rims with quoted Costco price

Are there any steel rims that will fit the B9? Audi's official option is alloys, and I feel like most people get aftermarket alloys. I certainly have friends who think that steel is more aesthetically-desirable (largely because that's what a winter rim 'should' look like) than cheap (or any) alloys for winter...

lol I will have to disagree on that winter rim 'should' look like

I really can't stand ugly steel on a nice car like our A4....yes it's the winter and there are sunny clear days where we can fully appreciate the beauty of the car even in winter gear setup

I agree that black steel wheels really never look right. I think they came into use because early alloy wheels got all messed up from winter road salt and other ice melting agents, from the abrasive action of road salt, sand and gravel, as well as getting scratches from breaking through hard pack snow and ice crust. And, of course, because they were cheaper. Summer is much easier on softish alloys.

I changed to winter package Michelin X-Ice Xi3 225/50R17.
After two snow days here in GTA I can confidently say this is a very comfortable and a safe feeling ride for me.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Can't go wrong with Xice. Sister has them on her SUV and handle amazing in icy roads.

I was going to go Xice but went with Alpine MP4 to keep the sports performance. In the GTA they usually have the main roads blowed so the MP4 will do the job and keep the performance.

Congrats on the Xices
