Hi, I have scanned the roof module and get no error or fault codes. When pulling top button the top will release in front but will not go back. When pushing button top will relatch to front again. I cannot get it to move back and no codes. any ideas? i can manually put top down and it will not go forward on its own but again once back close to windshield it will finish closing.

Hi immusicman. The top, trunk storage box and the trunk lid all interplay together. If you engage the button to lower the top but the car *thinks* there's a problem w/ either of those items (i.e.; not in their proper position), it won't budge.
Two mo's after I got my car, my top wouldn't go down. The storage box was lowered, the trunk was shut. Nothing was wrong that I could detect. Turns out there was some kind of module that wasn't sensing the trunk was indeed shut so the top wouldn't lower. The dealer fixed it but I don't know how. Hope that helps or can lead to something that might.
