Default Audi loaner policy sucks

I am used to taking my former (Volvo)car in for service at any dealership I am near and getting a loaner car. Audi only gives a loaner for cars needing more than 24hrs service. Dealerships give a loaner if you baught the car there. Now I have to drive 45 miles (one way: Ft. Lauderdale to Miami) in order to get my car serviced and have the ability to get around when I do. Car is fun, but Vovlo service was better.

Funny your e-mail should appear today. Just called Audi in Ft Lauderdale for a problem I am having with the passenger seat back rest. Car only has 800 miles on it. The service mgr just explained this policy for the first time. It was never mentioned by my salesman. I had a Saab and never had this same BS. Very disapointing. I hope I'm not in for more surprises.

Default Loaner - what's a loaner. In France they call it a renter

I.e. you need a courtesy car - you have to pay for it.

No mention from sales either. You would think that they would make more than the $30 rental fee from the service and be happy to have a new customer. Oh well. This from the same dealership that told me to buy from Miami since they would not negotiate. Lost the sale and service $s.
