Hello, I'm new to the group...my username is fleetpete and I have a 2005 A4 cabriolet 1.8T sport...which I love. I do have a problem with a roof leak, on the driver side at the windscreen pillar. After some research I find that it seems to be a fairly common problem - that's fixable by unblocking the drain-holes. I wonder if anybody else has had the same problem?
I would also like some advice...the passenger side has two drain-holes, one off the cup that the roof sits in, an one down the side of the windscreen (A?) pillar. Only problem is...I can only find one drain-hole on the driver side, it does look as if a previous owner has covered the hole with mastic, for some reason. So, my question is...should there be (as I suspect) two drain-holes on the driver side, the same as the passenger side?
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks
