Since our Cab's don't even have a factory sub.. a little more bottom end would be nice.
I added a JL 250 monoblock Amp & 8" JL W7 Sub.
I wanted to tap into the factory Bose amp mounted in the right rear fender for the low-level signals to run the new Amp.
After a lot of STFA I was unable to find a good pin-out for the newer CAN based Bose amp connector.
It is completely different than the older connectors which can be found in the archives.
Using Bentleys manual and a flashlight, I verified all of the connectors and their function.
For the low level signals to feed the Amp I used
Pin 21 (Green shielded wire) Channel 1
Pin 22 (White shielded wire) Channel 2
Signal ground -- I tied to the common ground stud next to the Bose Amp.
Remote Turn On - none found. I suspect that the factory Bose Amp is turned on through the CAN buss.
Used a separate wire from the fuse panel for this function.
I worked up the following graphic to better document the connector.
Hope this helps anyone looking to add a sub.
My system is up and running with no problems however, if I have missed something please let me know and I will update the graphic.

The only pin I could not ID was pin 18 which had no voltage on it Key-on or Key-off.
It would have been nice to piggy back the Remote turn on off the Bose unit, but I could not see how.
