CEL P0299
THE GF and I just bought an 07 A4 Quatro, 2l turbo. The car has been fine until yesterday, it's throwing a P0299, boost regulator ect..
I cleared the code but it will come back at 1/2 pedal or more. Is this common for this platform? It has 100k, I suspect the waste gate is starting to go bad? Has anyone else seen this? If so what might be some of the things to look for?
things I've done well before the code...
new air filter
oil and filter
plugs
new VVT
