Last fall I cleaned the convertible top and treated it with "Rag Top" brand waterproofer. I was disappointed because it did not seem to be as repellant as when the car was new. This spring I used "Porsche" brand waterproofer and found that it repels and beads water much better. It was also less expensive. Thought this would be helpful for anyone planning on treating their top.

and it has been working well for mine. Spray it slightly thicker and see if it works.
Rag Top is actually one of the best out in the market!

I used Porsche cleaner and waterproofer. Worked great. About $10 each from the dealer.

and I've been happy with the cleaner and protecting spray. The only trouble is masking off paint, metal and glass when spraying it. It's a bugger to get cleaned off of glass. I do the treatment about twice a year... top still looks good.
