Default Front license plate dilemma solved...for me at least

Since I have a front euro plate, the fix below works quite well. I basically used velcro strips to attach the valid Cali plate to my euro plate. I've driven around and no problems.

The real test will come in a couple days when i pickup a friend from the airport and will see if the cops do NOT give me a ticket, which is the whole reason for this...the cops at the airport near my house (LAX in Los Angeles) are giving tickets if you do not have your front plate on your car. the purpose for the velcro was for a quick attach and removal once i left the airport.

Before - you can barely see the thin white strips on the top and bottom of plate:

Random pics i took after a quick removal of the velcro attached Cali plate:

the cops at the airport near my house (LAX in Los Angeles) are ****** and are giving tickets if you do not have your front plate on your car. the purpose for the velcro was for a quick attach and removal once i left the airport.

Default ok, gotcha.

was commenting alittle earlier on another forum how front liscence plates ruin cars and how AZ is so lucky not to require them.
