I may finally bite the bullet in early 2004 and buy an A4 cabrio. Looking at the 1.8T model. I live in the Bay Area, and wonder where I might get the best deal.
Also when do the 2005 models first start appearing - mid way through 04 I imagine?

I shopped around to get my best price --ended up in Palo Alto at Carlsen motors. I like their service there as well as Rector in Burlingmae. BUT Rector has awful sales staff --the sales guy smoked in the car I was test driving and wouldn't let me put down the top. The one in San Rafeal--Sonnen, sucks too. I liked Santa Clara Audi on Stevens Creek Blvd ( I think it's Stevens Creek Audi) look for Vinny. Nice guy --just didn't have any cars I wanted at the time. He'll bargin providing you have other prices from other dealers.
good luck!

I have purchased three new Audis from him in the past 5 years. He was the #1 salesguy in the US at any dealership (in 2000). There is a reason why he was #1...he is great.
Give him a call at 925-682-3150 X 138.
BTW, he is in Kona Hawaii on vacation right now..but should be back on Dec 28th or thereabouts.
Don't buy or put a deposit down with another dealership until you talk to Ernst. Trust me on this. I know lots of salesman at different dealerships in the Bay Area...Ernst is the most knowledgeable, very low pressure, and really cares about your buying experience.
BTW, I started the NorCal Audi Club back in 97..see link below.

NorCal Audi Club website
