Default Highway speed vibration problem. Please help.

I'm new to audi. 03 1.8 cabriolet, automatic, fwd, 50,000mi. At highway speeds under slight to moderate throttle, there is a very noticeable vibration. Let off the gas and the vibration completely goes away. I haven't noticed any pulling left or right. Vibration can be felt by everyone in the car, not just pedals or steering wheel. Using tiptronic to downshift and increase engine rpm's doesn't change the vibration. What's worse, the vibration seems to get a little better on it's own, then comes back a few miles down the road. No warning lights coming on. Any Ideas??

Try do your wheel balancing. Your rims might be damaged!

My vote is the tires, personally. Rotate, balance, and look for issues there.

Can't be tires.. Vibration goes away when you let of the accelerator. Give is a little throttle and it comes back. Any other ideas? Thanks..

Default you have a bad CV Joint.

The fact that its happening under acceleration is the giveaway. Check out www.raxles.com for the parts. they have a good rep.

I had that, now I have cylinder 3 and 4 misfires. I've ordered a set of ignition coils and plugs. If it's not that it's going in the shop.

^^ Yes, it sounds like tires out of balance... Check tire pressure.. Then balance.... Only $50 fix!
