Default How to remove the upper trim of passenger seat area?

Anybody know how to remove the upper trim piece between the top lid and the door? (probably need pic here instead of trying to describe it).

The little spring loaded flap that closes when the top is down doesn't always slide into place properly. Looks like one of the guide pins is busted and I want to pull the trim so that I can replace the flap. Just can't figure out how it comes off. Looks like there's a seam and that it should be pretty simple ... but scratched my head trying to figure out how to pull the wood trim (covering the seam) without damaging it.

Anybody done this and can provide insight?

Thanks.
