i know it weighs more than an elaphant, but for the money, it seems slow imo. that and im sure because of the v8 it pulls harder than most past 60mph and has a much higher power range at higher speeds. Still, i think that time is slow, maybe its conservative advertising by audi and might be a few ticks faster, especially once you have a few miles on the car

Not that slow and not that expensive (although not cheap). I own a 3.0 FWD (Auto) Cab now and I am thinking about moving up to the S4 Cab (6 spd).

Loaded we're talking about $58K.

The 5.9 spec is for 0-62 and I think that is conservative. If you look at the UK site (US Audi site still doesn't have the S4 Cab specs up) you'll see that 0-62 the S4 Cab is only 0.3 sec slower than the S4 Sedan (5.9 vs. 5.6) and 1.9 sec faster than the A4 3.0 Cab.

Now if you compare Audi's 0-60 (US) vs. the 0-62 (UK) for the S4 Sedan and the A4 3.0 Cab there is a 0.3 sec difference (5.6 vs. 5.3; 7.8 vs. 7.5). So using Audi's conservative #'s we're probably looking at a 5.6 sec 0-60 time for the S4 Cab.

Finally, Car & Driver got the S4 Sedan to 60 in 5.0 sec (0.3 sec faster than Audi's time) which suggests that the S4 Cab will probably do it in 5.3.

Of course, quattro & 6 spd are big sellers for me too.
