Even though I'm sure this is in the owners manual, this weekend I went to park along the street but wanted to see the curb. I turned the electric mirror control to the right-side and suddenly it went all the way down to show the curb. Switching the mirror to the off position, it returned to it's setting. Very clever, we've had this car for almost a year and haven't noticed this feature before. Thought I would post it to let others know.

it's not surprising, the manual is so poorly writtin, that most people don't read it.

maybe this is something on the 3.0 . the mirrors go down when reversing on the 3.0
