Default paging:caster..question about your ordering process...

I ordered my Cab on Jan 31. (they quoted me 90 days) I called yesterday and they still do not have a build date. At this point in your process, did you have a build date yet?? The car is supposed to be here in three weeks from what they told me in the beginning, but it doesn't look like thats happening.

Default you should have a build week

by now. I ordered mine on 3/5 order was place into system 3/31 ( dealers order at end of month from my knowledge). my production week was 21 which meant 5/9/03 it entered production. it was on the ship venus by 6/11/03 which docked in Delware and in my hands on 6/27/03.

i have this all documented in my doc file that I kept when i ordered my car. did you get a commision number yet?!

did you dealer tell you if you order was released for production yet?

Default Re: you should have a build week

If I may add some info... We ordered, wrote a check for $1,500 on September 19. I have a fax from the dealer on October 13th with a factory requested, assigned and actual production week (in our case week 46) - Mid November. No VIN assigned at that time. November 17 Faxed completion date of Nov.10. Shipped Nov. 18 from Germany.... Receieved in San Diego mid December, We received it Dec.21. Our dealer kept us informed as things progressed. Things went according to schedule in our case. Your dealer should have provided you a factory order confirmation with all those codes for options i.e. "OLM" california emissions "PPX" premium package.... and so on. Hope things work out for you.

Default Additionally, 90-days is best scenario, they also tell you it could take 120-days. Yours should...

have a build date if not having been built by now. Mine was built two weeks ago, but appears to have missed two boats so far. I'm a little frustrated 'cause supposedly individual orders get boarding priority over dealer orders. You need to put pressure on your dealer to find out what is going on.
