I may do the install tonight. The kit looks MUCH better than I had anticipated. The cuts are dead on and the finish is beautiful. Its real aluminum with a thin (this was very important to me because I didn't want that puffy look) coat of resin for protection.
The kit is available in just aluminum but I was told that it scratches and dents easily

its a very extensive kit. Even the homelink has a trim piece

I think that it will add some flavor to the somber looking platinum interior

Default Do those pieces just go over your existing trim or do you have to remove the trim? Also, what holds

it on, double sided tape??

Default ........

it goes over the dash. thats why before i saw it i was worried that it would be "puffy" and fat. Anthony at Greedspeed assured me that he had ordered from this supplier before for project cars and that i would like it. He was right, the pieces are slim and as for adhesion, the whole backside of the kit is covered in 3M (that was very important as well for me) adhesive. Simply peel and stick. It can be removed with a hair drier so its not perm.

just gotta have a steady hand during application. ill post an install tonight or tomorrow

Default You might even consider removing the trim piece and placing on a flat surface

before applying the aluminum piece....
