a little while back I mentioned I had lots of little scratches on my moroblue paint, finally got chance to take it in to the dealer yesterday... they tried to polish them out but actually just added more - then they admitted there might be a problem... they are taking it to the body-shop early june and also re supaguarding it - if that fails then its an inspector from Audi... and who knows what from there. I am not going to accept a total respray so it might mean a new car..... am so pi**ed off.

I think Audi will try very very hard to wriggle out of this one as it could start an avalanche of claims.
As has been discussed before these new water based paints are awful for swirl marks and scratches and Audi does not always help with the choice of primer colour.
Sadly for you, Moro Blue is the worst offender. I know my dealer has to fully valet every Moro car they get in for any reason. Look at any brand new Moro car in a showroom and it will already be swirl mark city.
I expect most of yours will polish out if done professionally and the rest will be put down to 'fair wear and tear'.
Good luck.

Totally agree about the soft paint, not good at all, and Moro is probably one of the worst colours in this respect.
I had mine "Autoglym Lifeshine" treated before taking delivary, and then added two coats of Autoglym Super Resin Polish and a coat of Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection which should hopefully help protect it.
Also means it looks like this....!
