TADA : how to make the us sunglass holder open

Step 1: Pry out old piece gently with flat head screw driver. Comes out nice and easy!
Step 2: Remove rivit circled in red from both sides

Step 3: Flip unit upside down and insert screw driver here and pry towards the edge lightly

Rivit will protrude like

Step 4: remove with pliers ( i used channel locks)

Step 5: OPEN

TO COME:
We need to install springs here so it stays opens and closes nicely

Also the inside needs velvet.
Beside that you got a fully functional sunglass mod for $5.
