For those in Europe with a manual, how does the car drive?

Transmission feels solid but for the 3.0 i drive, I prefer a 6 speed as i had before on an Golf V6 4motion wich is far more better than the 5 speed i have now. Engine is ok solidness of the car is far behind the price.... I sqeeuks and cracks every bump. Driving it now for 20.000 KM's and i'm not 100% statisfied about the car and the Audi service in the Netherlands especially PON the importer sucks.

The diesel V6 comes with a 6-speed and feels really quite sporty - all that torque. It flattens out at motorway speed but still hauls the car up to over 100 mph alarmingly easily - you just don't get the 'surge' feeling that you do at town speeds. Going up through 1st, 2nd, 3rd while accelerating round a roundabout or something does indeed feel very solid and thrusty. I tried a variety of cabs on test drive, but mainly CVT: after deciding to go manual, I did have a 3.0 manual A4 saloon for an afternoon but despite being lighter, it felt a bit more sluggish than the turbodiesel cab. Just my gut feeling, rather than objective numbers etc.
