TOP WONT GO UP OR DOWN !
Hi, I have a 2003 Audi A4 Cabrio and the top wont fully go down and now doesnt come up, has anyone had a similar problem? Some advice would be greatly appreciated 
. I scanned the vehicle with VAG-COM and got the following codes:
02000 - Switch Position
008 - Implausible Signal
01990 - Switch for Compartment Cover Locked (F200) / (F199)
008 - Implausible Signal
01109 - Hydraulic Pump Relay (J321)
009 - Open or Short to Ground - Intermittent

Soft top not going up/down
I had a similar problem last year (under warranty) but couldn't get it to fail at dealer's service dept. So they did nothing.
Brought it back - still acting up - a few days before warranty expiration and they
1) replaced computer
2) new battery
All under warranty
Now it is out of warranty, and still intermittantly still not going up/down. May be a placebo - but I jiggle the lever in the trunk that raises/lowers the boot and that frequently does the trick.
I may send a certified letter to service department telling them that the problem that I identified before the waranty expired is still acting up.
