Looking to get wheels and snows for our Allroad and have it narrowed down to:
- BBS SR in Anthracite 19X8.5X112 ET32. Is this the right bolt pattern and offset?
- ALSO, how does the ALLROAD manage TPMS? is it through a wheel sensor? or through the ABS Brake system? ( I heard the latter but don't have a clue what I am talkin about)!
- Going to Run Nokian Hakkapellitta R5's 235/50 R19

TPMS works thru measurement of tire diameter, not wheel sensors. All you will need to do is reset the TPMS after you change out the tires
and I assume you meant R5 SUV as they are the only ones with sufficient load rating for the A6 allroad. also your overall diameter will be smaller than OEM, 245s would bring you closer to OEM

Might want to double check that, pretty sure as of MY 22 C8's switched back from Hub sensors to inside the wheel sensors. So if you have a spare set of snow tires you are going to need to source an extra set of TPMS.

good catch Sam. yes it looks like they went to TPMS on the wheel itself for MY22. Interesting change ... less expensive or parts shortage...?

Here's a somewhat random q that would seem to fit in here ... short version is, this comes close enough to the OEM spec (offset deviation of only 2), correct? --

The longer version would be ... does this plan make any sense? --

- Replace OEM tires with CC2 next month for year-round use.
- Tell the installer to remount one of the OEM tires on that random eBay'ed wheel (and not bother with adding TPMS sensor).
- If I get a flat, I'll have something reasonable to drive on for, say, a couple days while awaiting a replacement CC2 ... yes, mixing & matching offset, tread depth, and tread pattern, but for just a couple days of driving, seems reasonable? Also would be an option for carrying along on a big road trip (with a gas mileage penalty, and also taking up cargo capacity, but so much space in there anyway).

Definitely need more photos @quesofrito !! Would love to see what a proper sporty BBSLM setup looks like on a C8...
