21x9.5 ET20 work? This calc https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...9-5&offset2=20 says it would stick a little more than inch than stock.

Audi offers these, at a very high price, for winter wheels up here in Canada:

I'd love to see some less expensive options.

I have the CETE Lowering Module installed. It's pretty awesome. Easy installation and I can adjust the car height with a mobile app.

To give you some pointers: The pictures above are 22x10.5 ET42 with 295/25 tires. I think they poke more than 2 inches and there is still room to go. I have no rubbing issues with this setup and the car being lowered.

According to the calculator I linked, your setup pokes out 20mm more than stock, what I'm looking at would stick out 30mm more than stock.

You will need to verify what brakes you have with your dealer. The US cars have the optional brakes (in Europe) and very few if any 18s will fit our cars. Given the price is in euro that site, it could be offering wheels for all A6 models, not yours specifically. I tried getting 18s but couldn't and had to get 19s. The wheel wells are so big you can fit PLENTY of tire in there on 19s for a comfy ride. The air suspension is already very plush. If you want even more cush get the CETE controller and lift it 10mm in comfort mode and with the shocks soft and the extra up travel... It's so good.

Good advice, thanks. I did find those wheels on the 2020 Audi Canada Winter Wheels site so it looks like they should fit. I'm only interested in 18" wheels because I want a narrower tire for cutting through the snow up here in the Great White North.

If you want to send over your VIN via email I can check what brakes you have from the factory: contact@europrice.us

It's nice to hear of someone using the CETE air suspension setup to lift a car, though maybe I was the only one. Works equally well lowering cars as it does lifting:

Controller Package | CETE A6, S6, RS6, Allroad Air Suspension <-Click Link for More Information

It's not a C8 but it sure is fun

Cheers,

Thanks for putting up your offset, tire size and wheel details. As someone else mentioned, you’re getting a 20mm poke or 0.787in over stock and a whopping 30m closer to the suspension. I’ve already ordered the CETE controller (few weeks out I think) and will probably drop it ~ 1” in my normal driving mode. I like a clean, minimalistic wheel that, among other things, is easy to clean (this car will be making the trek to Mammoth multiple times a year so I want something I can clean relatively easily. I also want a wider tire, which I know impacts traction negatively. I’ve run both a 275 and 285 tire on our RS5 in the snow and had great results with Michelin AS4s. Also ran 275/30s on our now gone B8.5 allroad for 8 1/2 years no problem.

So far I’ve settled on BC Forged RS45 in 20 x 9.5 size with 275/40/20 all seasons (aforementioned Michelins or the new Continental DWS 06 Plus). My only remaining question is the offset to order. BC will basically give you exact offset you want. I’m considering either et30 or et35. The et35 offset would be so I could play around with spacers to dial things in. However, my preference is to avoid spacers if I can…an old bias I can’t completely shake.

Any suggestions?

In the meantime, here is a shot of the car on delivery day:

If that’s a pic from delivery day, did the dealer that you bought it from tint the windows for you before transporting the car? Or is the lighting/shadows just playing visual tricks on that photo making it look darkly tinted when it’s really stock? Either way, looks great!
