Sorry for a bit offtopic, but would you guys mind measuring the height up to the top of the trunk while it's fully open? I'd like to see if it will fit my garage with the garage door slided up and I can't find this dimension anywhere...

My Allroad sits on a lift maybe six feet off the floor. Even walking past three feet away from the rear of the car will trigger the hatch opening. This leads me to think the sensor field of view is cone shaped and I need to reform that cone in some way. Yes, I realize that having the key fob in my pocket is part of the problem.

I believe it learns the height you want by opening it and holding it at the place you want it to stop. After set, it will only open to that height.
