Does the volume change with the setting or is it a baseline volume thing?

For me, the volume of the crackling is consistent, so if I'm on a phone call or listening to low music it's very apparent and easy to point out. If I turn the volume up, the noise can mostly be masked, but can still be heard.
So, the noise is consistent with the crackling/static regardless of what the system volume is set to.

It's crazy that this isn't at least recognized by Audi! I'm not sure how apparent it is for you, but the noise for me is sometimes so hard to ignore. You would think at least someone at Audi would hear and recognize it as an issue, especially with the number of vehicles this is apparently impacting.

Just signed up to report the same issue with my brand new Audi RSQ3 2024 with Sonos. It has the same popping sound like sand or a tiny stone hitting the windscreen. Happens regardless of audio source and can hear during calls. After reading the prior 33 page I am working on talking myself into living with it because the car is great otherwise.
