Sigh. Driving home from work yesterday, I pulled a right turn on my street and swerved sharply to avoid some kids playing on their bikes. Sadly, the 20" beauties got the brunt of it.
Any thoughts on repair? How much is it to replace 1 wheel?

Ouch! It should be straightforward to repair by a wheel specialist. Should cost around $100-150. I'm not sure the exact cost of replacement, but it will be a multiple of the cost of repair.

I looked into it for one of my 19" wheels - how does 1100 Grab you? Decided on the repair - at 130 and really it was fine. Next time - Sacrifice the kids and save your wheels.

I had a wheel repaired 2 years ago with a similar marking to yours. Cost me $150 to fix here in Minneapolis. Honestly could not tell the difference.

I went with these guys (http://www.awrswheelrepair.com/). Cost me $150. They did a good job repairing the damage, can't tell where the damage was. Should get mine back today (they had to take the Rim back to fix an issue with the powder coat on the wheels). I will post some before and after pics.
These guys are a franchise, so I dealt with the one in my area (http://www.awrswheelrepair.com/sfv/)
--------------
I also had some curb damage on another rim and went to the Dealer to get it fixed...which was a bad idea, because the shop they chose couldn't match the finish. Only cost my $70 in that case, but I would rather have paid more to get it done right.
---------------
Moral of the story, make sure they can match the finish...Thankfully this time I got some one who can...We'll see the results tonight.

This seems to be an issue that affects me often, which is the only reason I got the extra wheel/tire warranty.
Finance guy told me to call it pot holes for whatever it is and it's covered.
Same issues on my previous M3, and it cost about $200/wheel to get fixed like new.

If your rim gets bent however then you can blame that on potholes.

I show $900 retail for the OEM 20" A6 wheel. A quick search turned up $800 at Audi of Alexandria

I scraped the rear left wheel on a curb....brand new A6 Prestige with the 20" wheels. After reading this forum, I contacted the local version of these guys: http://www.awrswheelrepair.com/. They came to my office and within 45 minutes, all signs of the scrape were gone. Best $125 I ever spent!!!
Glad I read this forum....thanks.!!!

I just noticed this weekend when I was washing my car that mine just got curbed as well. I know exactly when and where it was done and it wasn't by me. Problem is, Valet Services don't cover this kind of damage.
Do I go with the guys you recommend or just claim it with my tire/wheel insurance we got with the car ?
