Yea, starting at $29 then adding $11 shipping for something that weighs a few ounces is way beyond the pale. ECS apparently has a good racket going if they can charge that BS.

When I had my 2012 A6 into the dealer for winter tire changeover a couple of weeks ago the service dept. flashed the car in response to a technical service bulletin that addresses oil level monitoring...

Any chance you have the TSB number from your work invoice?

Was this to fix over or under monitoring?

I'm at the office right now and don't have access to the paperwork.

If I recall correctly, the service writer advised that it was to expand the range of sensitivity if that makes sense...

LOL sounds like an ad for Viagra....

Thanks for the heads up though, I go in for my oil change on Thursday...well I drop it off on Wednesday. I will see if they mention this to me...thanks for agreeing to post the TBS.
