2012 A6 paint protection film question

Picked up my A6 Prestige in glacier white last week and ordered mud flaps while at the dealer. First attempt by the dealer resulted in the wrong parts and no installation - even using my VIN # to order. Dealer reordered again. Just got a call from the parts dept that mud flaps are not available for the 2012 A6. OK. However, while trying to make the first install attempt the service dept removed the clear paint protection film that was on the drivers side lower front fender (just behind the tire) and on the lower drivers door sill. I only had the film on the drivers side.
My question - does your 2012 A6 have the clear paint protection film on BOTH sides - drivers and passenger sides - and only on the lower front fendor and door sill - not the rear panels? Mine came with the film only on the drivers side and was missing on the passengers side. It was no big deal as long as I was putting on the mud flaps for protection, but now they aren't avaialable and those panels are not protected. If you guys have it on both sides from the factory then I'll discuss with the dealer about getting it put back on - since they took off the film on the one side in the first place.
Thanks.

I guess I don't understand. Is the film a factory option you ordered? I have not seen any cars that have this. Are you talking about a shipping film of some sort?

The film is on both of my front fenders and doors.
FWIW I had to have my passenger door replaced after someone backed into it. The autobody shop removed the film on the passenger side to feather in the paint (I can't tell the difference in paint). They replaced the film - I know it was the last step since apparently it had to wait for their "decal guy" who was their expert in applying stickers without getting bubbles under them. The long story short would be it should be relatively painless to ask your Audi dealer to install the missing proctective trom.
IIRC you can get mud flaps for the premium or premium plus trims. The prestige has the s-line body trim and there are not mud flaps for that style of body.

Non S-Line and both sides.
Sorry to hi-jack....is there anything on the rear fender or bumper? I unfortunately had to have my rear bumper replaced...just curious if there was or not.
