2013 Trade-In values

It may be a bit off topic but I am tempted to say that the C7 generation of A6s retain an excellent resale value (at least currently). I went to Lexus just to inquire about the new GS350. They offered me $42K for my car (which had roughly $61K MSRP) that has already 41K on odometer. I think I could do a bit better selling it myself. It is an early version of '12 model year.
Also, I may sound overly optimistic, I believe C7s will last really long. The powertrain is very solid and durable. The only problems down the road could be some minor electrical ones.
Again excuse me if I went a bit off topic.

I thought I did great, but looking at others' prices, I just did so-so. Purchased non-CPO, demo car in March of this year. It's a 2012 A6 3.0T P+, cold weather pkg, audi assist with 11K miles for $44K. It's white with nougat interior. At that time the deal seemed awesome, especially considering what those sold for at the Manheim dealer's auction (I had access to that data).
On trade-ins the dealers rape you. I refused to trade in my 330xi and sold it myself. Got more money for it (like 40% more).
