2014 A6 C7
I've attached the log from vag-com Ross-tech.
So, I cut my car off and let the battery run to weak listening to music to start the car. Charged the battery and I still cant get the car to turn over or attempt to crank. Any help with this would be highly appreciated. I have a 2010 Jetta that I've rebuilt myself several times. I'm stumped when it comes to diagnosing this Audi. Please any assistance would be highly appreciated since this is my wife's daily driver.

All the instruments on the panel cluster work. Keep getting 2251 - Shift Lock Solenoid (N110) P1761 00 [10101111] - Short to Ground MIL ON - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
when everything checks out. I have checked all fuses and swapped the relays around for the ECM with no luck. Any ideas?

Have you checked the fuses under the hood underneath the plenham cover (I think near where the jumper access is)? There may even another pair near the battery in the trunk. Search this forum, while I haven't had this problem there are others who have.

I wish I could say that I haven't double and triple checked every fuse/relay in the car. I'm pretty good with this kind of thing. I hate even asking something like this. Had the camshaft adjuster replaced the week before Christmas. Well supposedly it was. Could that be a option if it was never replaced?

If you completely clear all the code, and try to restart the car, what are the codes that come back?
Is it these three?
I don't think the issue you are seeing is actually related to the battery. But something else.
Is it these three?
3 Faults Found:
5456 - Starter Will Not Turn
P3054 00 [11100101] - Jammed or Electrical Malfunction
4629 - ECM Power Relay Load Circuit
P068A 00 [00100100] - Opens Too Early
7210 - Cam Adjustment Actuator B; Cylinder 1
P11A3 00 [00100111] - Elec. Malf. or Open Circuit

- I would get an external power source attached to your car and try to start the car first and see if the battery has enough crank amp juice left to actually start the car. Does the engine try to turn over at all? This way you can rule out the battery. The fact that playing music without the car-on can drain battery that much means the battery is probably old, or it is not getting charged enough while running.
- Looking at the second set of errors, ECU can't determine if your car is in Park or Neutral to start the engine. Or the Shift Lock has been engaged, so you can take the car in and out of gear manually, which means the ECU won't attempt to start the car. So I would focus on checking the solenoid, sensors and wires around your shifter
- Looking at the first set of errors, it looks like you might have issues with exhaust cam time/lift control, which might cause power issue in higher rpm, but I don't think it would stop you from starting the car. Unless the cam position sensor is broken.
- Code P068A - A weak Battery may set this fault code. Insure the Battery voltage is at least 11.5v. 2009-2014 Audi vehicles with no start issues, please see TSB 97-14-2 or TPI 2036764 for possible updated J271 relay. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...55713-5611.pdf

It is the second 2. Those are what is present after clearing all codes. I have checked the battery and it is good. I even tried another battery. It will not attempt to crank at all. The code for shift interlock solenoid appeared after clearing codes with ross tech.

1. When you put your foot on/off the brake pedal, do you hear lock/unlock of solenoid noise near the gear shifter? (first 5 seconds of this video)
2. Can you put it out of park without starting your car? (6 seconds and on of the above video)

OK, now we know what is broken, so that it what needs to be fixed. It is not clear to me whether fuse/replay for it is bad, or the solenoid is actually bad, or the wires/plugs are cut.
