He is willing to sell a 2014 at invoice + 1000 - 1500 (loyalty), so its coming to 60,757. The 62,257 is invoice+1000.

If the biturbo TDI is here it is a no brainer. Based on what i saw on YouTube, 0-100km is similar, but BiTDI beats TFSI 0-200km at 19s vs. 23s, and 0-250km at 37s vs. 45s. And BiTDI has better mileage.

At 479 lb-ft, the BiTDI has more torque than Ferrari 599 GTO. The only diesel that beats this is BMW M550d with tri turbo, and comes close to M5 territory.

Too bad neither of these engines are coming to North America.

True, now in GA there is a $599 doc fee so it is kind of like they are making $1100, but I am not down negotiating. The beauty of Atalanta is I have 4 Audi dealers within 20-25 miles, let the fighting begin. I am thinking I will try and get down to Invoice and Audi Care at cost and let them make $600 on a car that will sit on their lot a day or 2. Also not sure what Audi hold back is on the car so my guess i they will make $1000 on the car.

Here is what I hope to be ordering int he next few days: (exterior leaning Gray or maybe silver)

$51,244.00 4G251A 2014 A6

$0.00 FZ Black Interior
$895.00 Destination
$467.00 Metallic Paint
$2,604.00 WPT Prestige
$2,604.00 PCN Driver Assistance
$1,302.00 PX2 LED Headlights
$181.00 6FL Audi Guard Premium Floor Mats
$0.00 6NQ Black Headliner
$0.00 6W9 Front grille filler
$744.00 PRY 19 inch 15-spoke star wheels

$60,041.00 sub-Total

It is nice to have competition. There are 7 Audi dealers within 25 miles and 8 within 35. The dealer was clearing inventory and I paid $5K below invoice plus free set of 18" winter tires and CPO warranty.

As much as I would love the improved gas mileage, it is not worth the large premium over the 2.0 engine and especially the more powerful 3.0 engine. Maybe I will change my mind, but doubt it.
I don't know of any manufacturer that sells a diesel for less than the gas variant.

True, but one would expect the 240 hp diesel will slot between the 2.0T and 3.0T in terms of price.

Damn I love competition and VWs gaol to be number 1 I just got an email from another dealer offering me to order my A6 for invoice and will sell be Audi Care for half off! Sure they still make $600 for their dealer doc fee, but that is better and easier than I thought as some of the local Audi dealers were only willing to take 2% off MSRP. Hope to get this order finalized this week and then the wait....
