Default 2016 A6 3.0T Wheels Suggestions???

Hi all, I am like to get some 19" wheels for my 2016 A6 3.0T Premium Plus and would really love some suggestions.

What brands should I look at for quality without putting a hole in my wallet? VMR, Hartmann, Avant Garde, BBS, TSW, etc.?

What style, finish, material should I look for?

What size should I look for? 19x8 or 19x8.5, etc.

I really prefer a 19" set that is a perfect fit for my 2016 A6.

As for tires, I am all set on either the DWS06 Or Michelin AS3.

I will use my stock 18" wheels with winter tires for the snowy season.

Thanks much!

If you have done your research, look at

Construction: Forged ---High Pressure Cast --- Gravity Cast
Weight: WWW --- W --- WW
Cost: $$$ --- $$ --- $
Strength: Very Strong -- Well balance --- OK

Depending on you priority, take your pick.

Forged wheel can be expensive and sometimes heavy but very strong.
I think Oz is the only company that do High Pressure Cast, the wheels are very light and easy to balance.
Most other wheels are gravity cast.

In addition, what color or finish do you want?

Thanks, my car is Havana Black. I am thinking Gunmetal for wheels.

I like to know the exact size for wheels and tires to get so I can place an order for the right items.

This would be the correct tire size, for 19 inch wheels right?

I have 19x9.5 Niche from 19x8 oem on my 2012.
I was unsure of 19" and 9.5 do I go with 20s but I do love the size.

I used the same stock size tire 255/40 and it is perfect. Gave a little more stretch and it is about a .2" drop on the car. So the rim fits the wheel well nice, no more gap everyone thinks it is dropped with aftermarket 20s.

and there is no ride/noise impact either

So, if I go with 255/40/R19 tires.

What size should I buy for the wheels?

Anyone familiar with the term "Rotary Forged"???

The Nurburgring Rotary ForgedŽ Wheel is manufactured using a highly advanced production technique called Rotary Forging. The rim of the wheels is forged at high pressure while the wheel is spun at high speed. This alters the molecular structure and enhances the strength of the alloy. The benefit is a much lighter weight than a regular cast wheel. Most importantly, the weight saving is in the outer rim of the wheel which dramatically reduces rotational mass and enhances vehicle performance.
