Default 2016 Audi A6 3.0T engine whine and revving

I recently started to have the following issues with my 2016 A6-3.0T.

1) When I hit the acc, especially between 30-40 miles/hr, the car hesitates and the engine gives out a momentary whine before the car responds.
2) When I let go of the accelerator to slow down, as the transmission shifts down the engine revs up..and then drops. This did not happen before. This is a recent issue.

I am not sure if these issues are inter-related or not. Has anyone seen this and provide pointers??? Thanks

Is this repeatable? or just happens randomly? I would take it to the dealer.

Suggest you call dealer first thing in the a.m. and describe the symptoms. If I recall correctly our A6s came with 4 years of Audi roadside service (at least here in the US) and thus having car delivered to dealer on a flatbed should not cost you anything. I wouldn't want to drive it and risk any damage attributable to driving it in this condition (last thing you want to hear is denial of warranty claim on basis that you shouldn't have driven the car with the symptoms it was exhibiting). Dealer should be able to give you some guidance. So many complex systems in these modern cars -- could be anything. Supercharger belt issue/serpentine belt issue/transmission issue/engine control computer issue. Hopefully threw a code and dealer can figure it out quickly. Under warranty -- good thing! Keep us posted.

Best,
Jeff
