Default 2019 A6

Hey guys. Trying to decide between an 18’ S4 or 19’ A6. Assuming price is very similar, whether or not I need the extra room and size. The technology in the 19’ seems incredible! I am coming from a BMW 528xi which feels very bulky and large. Has anyone switched over from a 5 Series to an A6 that can give me some comparisons and contrasts? Do dealers know when they will start taking orders for the 19’? Thanks guys, looking forward to the responses.

I believe the '19 A6's will start hitting US dealers in Q4 of this year...not sure when they might start taking orders though.
If you thought the 5 series felt bulky and large, you'll probably feel the same about the A6. I just traded from an A6 to an S5 sportback - my A6 had the sport suspension and plenty of power/torque and was a great all-around car, but the S5 is a lot more fun (no surprise!).
Have you considered the S5 sportback vs S4?

Drove the S4. Loved it! But with an infant, it’s a very tight squeeze in the backseat with the car seat. Sportback feels even smaller with the condensed roof line. Will go to the dealership to drive an 18’ A6 and S6 to see how they feel.

I spoke my with dealer this week. Orders for '19 A6 should be June/July. Deliveries expected in USA September/October
