I was told BMW tunes the suspension to compensate for the stiffer RFT side walls. So if one switches to non RFT the handling quality deteriorates as it becomes too soft.

I was just wondering if you had gotten the chance to up the tire pressures in your car. If so, do you think it helps, worsens or does nothing?
Happy Memorial day all!

Irenesbob, I did try with max load tire pressure. Did not notice much difference. It is clearly Quattro system with the bulk of the 3.0 engine being over center line of front drive axle. It is in fact a nose heavy car and inherent understeer. So it is what it is. I already got used to it. Everything else is great (even cup and glass holders)

After the break in I run the car in tight corners, the body rolls but I do not see major understeering.
I test drove a S4 the other day. With rear sport diff it makes a marked diff. At one corner it even shows a mild oversteer. No body roll. Impressive drive.
