Malfunction Indicator Light recently came on for 2013 A6 Quatro (2.0L). VCDS scans indicated code P2181 along with a couple of coolant pump errors (see attached Fault codes). Ran VCDS in graph mode to check coolant temperature vs. time. Temperature started at 55C and steadily rose to 73C after 30 minutes at 1500 rpm. Temperature seems too low and also didn't decrease anytime during run which I would have expected when/if thermostat opens. Local mechanic thinks it is probably temperature sensor, but doesn't seem to be consistent with the other codes. Do you think a pump replacement is warranted here?
