A6 Premium Plus vs Prestige... Thoughts?
Hello, I'm looking into buying my first A6 (2013), and I wanted to know all the differences between the Premium Plus and Prestige trim, cosmetics and features. I'm wanted your thoughts on whether the Prestige trim is worth paying the extra 3 to 4 grand for. I do want things like heads up display and back up camera, but stuff like heated seats (good lord, I live in TX) and parking assist, I don't care about. As for cosmetics, if anyone can post side by side pictures of a Premium Plus and Prestige, spotting out all the differences, that would be very helpful!

why prestige:
Ventilated Seats (may not get ice cold...but DOES provide air and coolness...) + the seats tend to be quite a bit nicer
WAY better Climate Control - 4 Zone with Digital Temp control
Front LED's in headlights act as turn signals / better integrated...The Prem + has a segmented Lighted strip that looks kind of lacking..
Better / Bigger LCD display in Car (no need to upgrade it..)
I am sure I am missing a bunch of stuff.....but trust me all the things I listed you will wish you had.

Come on guys....
Just a reply saying Prestige is the way to go is not what the Poster was looking for...
Help him out and DIFFERENTIATE the 2 models (I think that was what he was looking for...)!

Ventilated Seats
4 Zone HVAC with Digital Temp control
headlights & cornering lights
Better / Bigger LCD display in Car
I mentioned:
S line exterior
Power steering wheel with memory
Ambient lighting package
The only thing not mentioned was the Bose Stereo. I think it was pretty well covered.

Spend some time studying this press release kit for 2013.

Speaking for 3.0T (2.0T didn't have Prestige),
Prestige package had these items:
18" Five-V-spoke design wheels with 245/45 all season tires
Bose sound system with subwoofer
Four-zone climate control
Front seat ventilation
Adaptive headlights w/ static halogen cornering lamps
Power adjust steering column+ Memory
Ambient lighting plus - LED
S line exterior (bumpers, grille)
Following three options were available for Prestige only.
1. LED headlight
2. Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System
3. Innovation package that had:
Audi adaptive cruise control with stop & go functionality
Head-up display
Audi pre sense plus
Night vision assistant
Audi side assist & active lane assist
Top view 360 degree camera with front and rear corner view
Auto-dimming / power-folding heated exterior mirrors
Following items in the Innovation package were option as "Driver assistance package" for Premium plus.
Audi adaptive cruise control with stop & go functionality
Audi pre sense plus
Audi side assist
Auto-dimming / power-folding heated exterior mirrors
So, heads-up display, active lane assist, and top view 360 degree camera were options for Prestige only.
My 13 had everything but the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System, and I am very happy with all the extra technologies. You will find that there is a significant price difference between Prestige with all those options and ones without them along with limited number of them on the market.
