I was an early adopter. Got car June 1 st. I've tried to ask for the updated software and dealer said they will only update if there is a problem. I should say the problem is my mmi doesn't show album art.

With the c6 it was very easy and cheap to order the software and do the update yourself. Might want to look into it.

Who is your dealer? In talking with my dealer, Rusnak Weslake, they said that everytime I bring my car in for service they check for the latest MMI software.

I am also interested in the album art. I know for 2012 the BMWs (535i) showed the the art.

Got denied again yesterday. Told them about an intermittent volume problem I have with am stations and got denied the mmi update. Then asked that my red cable wasnt working like in other a's6 and got denied again. "software update is not available for your car". I'm calling Audi USA myself today.

Just got my red grommet iPod cable. But apparently it only works with the iPod touch? I have an older iPod that does show album art on the iPod screen. Car says my iPod isn't compatible. Anyone know if that's the case or maybe my cable is messed up?
