Audi Care
Can someone enlighten me on the value of Audi Care? From what I can see, it only provides oil changes, HEPA cabin filter and turn off service reminder display. All the other items stated in the comprehensive maintenance are inspections with ,"...replacement parts and labor additional...". To me this just appears a way to drive traffic to the dealership without really adding a lot of value. Anyone can change the oil and cabin filter. Can my VAG COM connection turn off the service reminder display (or MMI) ? I plan to have the dealership perform the work in the future, however, am just not seeing $800 of value.
Any insights will be appreciated.

A little more than that
More than what you list. Take a look at Service recommendations-brake fluid change and some other things at 2 years. I did not buy it as I do things myself but for the money not a bad deal since oil changes are quite expensive at dealer. 7 Quarts of Castrol 0W30 European Spec plus filter is about $60 if done at home.

Unless you do the maintenance yourself and you are using the dealer, the math works out in favor of Audicare. I've calculated I could probably about break even if I use my local Audi specialist shop but even at break even, I prefer the dealer handle all maintenance during the warranty for convenience of repairs as needed under warranty. It also eliminates any potential finger pointing if something goes wrong as a result of a maintenance issue. After warranty, I'll probably use my local Audi guy as he's less expensive than the dealer by about 30%.

Agree with what's been said already re :cost savings. I believe it helps for resale value (if sold back to an Audi dealer) as it could then be listed as "C.p.o" easier.

There is also a major spark plug replacement service at 35k miles. Audi's are quite expensive to maintain. Not your typical honda with oil change only service up til 100k.

Thanks ! Got the Audi Care.
They offered a handful of extras: $3800 was a 7 year/100,000 mile warranty, $795 for clear bra, $800 Audi Care, $795 tire and wheel, Lo-Jack 43 cents per day (why show it that way?), $575 Paint protector... a whole list of things I didn't take...

Audi Term care is an extended coverage repair warranty that covers things not normally covered under the manf warranty i.e. batteries, brake pads, alignments, etc.. These things are also not covered under AudiCare services. AudiCare is a maintenance agreement for specified service mileage/time intervals. You've got to read the agreement for what's covered under normal maintenance intervals and what isn't.
