After mine expired in June, I got the prepaid SIM with the initial $15 on it.

I turned off the Google Maps & InCar Wifi(never used)

I still do everything else:
- Google Destination Search
- SendToCar through GoogleMaps on PC
- Gas Station Search/Price check
- Weather report

Since the beginning of June, I have only used $0.90 of my initial pre-paid balance.

So if I was offered that lower price at delivery, before I knew my use cases, I would have definitely gotten the deal. But now after actually using it, and knowing my actual use of it, the Pre-paid option is what I am sticking with.

I guess if you want Google Earth updated regularly, that's what would run up the Tru Sim usage big time and a $15 per month T-Mobile unlimited deal would be the way to go. No way at $30 though.

I've used the Audi WiFi for my iPad which works pretty well. My iPhone 4s is on unlimited data though, so WiFi in the car for my iPad is more of a novelty and really not a necessity.

Rereading your usage, I'm curious..
As I understand it, TruSim charges $.16 minimum for each access (100kb). If so, how is it you've only used $.90 since June? That would be only a very few accesses, no? I must be missing something.
Maybe it's 1.6 cents min for each usage?
