HI, I hit a pothole this week-end in my 2013 A6 Prestige with 20" sport package. The car now drives like it has a square wheel. There is a company called ARWS that operates in the Northern Virginia Area. http://www.awrswheelrepair.com/northernva/index.php Has anyone used them for wheel repair/straightening? If so, how were they?? Thanks.

Send the wheel up to Wheel Collision Center in Pennsylvania. I have used them several times to have entire sets of wheels straightened and repainted, and the work has been flawless. They use some proprietary wheel straightening processes (Google for more details) that the typical wheel repair guy is unlikely to employ. FWIW if you choose a new tire and have it drop shipped to Wheel Collision, they will mount and balance it (they have Road Force balancers) and send you back a ready-to-use wheel and tire. www.wheelcollision.com

Also, if it was a highway check with your state -- I actually got California to partially reimburse me for a couple of bent wheels after I drove through a huge pothole on a freeway where they were doing construction.

I have used AWRS for several years and am very satisfied with their work!
In fact I just called them to fix a Porsche wheel for me.
They make it easy, door to door, no packing, shipping etc.

I've dealt with WCC in PA. Not worth the shipping costs if you're in NoVA. Quality of work at Ye Ole Wheel Shop in Elkridge, MD was just as good and within reasonable driving distance. Just got a set of 20's in a trade that need cosmetic work before I'd put them on my car. May give ARWS a shot.
